This is an original 20x20 inch painting inspired by the Everglades. A white alligator skull frames a small world inside it: airboats, a kayaker, birds, turtles, plants, and other details that represent life in the Florida wetlands.
I painted this piece with acrylics on a professional stretched canvas and added real gemstones to the eyes and a few teeth for extra shine and dimension. The painting took over 80 hours to complete and has a lot of small details to explore.
The canvas is gallery-wrapped, the edges are painted, and it’s ready to hang. It’s varnished for protection.
